Importance of this Certificate
The certificate is a credential for any teacher working within the Kenyan education system.
It serves as official recognition that the teacher has met the required qualifications and standards set by the commission.
Teachers without this certification may find it challenging to access promotions, training opportunities, or transfers to better schools.
The certificate serves as proof of the teacher’s commitment to professional standards and continuous learning, both of which are crucial to improving teaching methods and student outcomes.
It also provides job security and eligibility for various benefits, including pensions and allowances, thus making it an indispensable asset for teachers.
