Popstar billionaire turned fashion mogul Rihanna via her instagram account announced that her brands Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin brands will soon arrive in African countries, Kenya being one of them.
She announced this to her 128 million followers with several pictures of her in a head wrap, likened to be expressing the African culture.
The global popstar’s brands will be available in selected African countries including Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Namibia, Ghana, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Moreover, she is set to officially open the first shop on May 27, 2022.
Besides, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty is one of the first makeup brands to offer over 40 and now 50 different shades of foundation.
Having fenty beauty products in Kenya will save makeup artists the cost of importing them from abroad.
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty first came onto the makeup industry in September 2017, and it has yet to stop creating waves within the beauty industry.
She has an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion thanks to her 50 per cent stake in cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty. Furthermore, Rihanna is the first billionaire in her home country of Barbados, which recently honoured her as a “national hero”
