A man has presented himself at the Makongeni police station in Nairobi after he killed his wife in Garissa where they had been staying.
According to police Wekesa Wanyonyi reported that he murdered his 22-year-old wife after realizing that her six-month pregnancy was not his.
The two reportedly quarreled on Friday, September 9, 2022, before Wanyonyi kicked the deceased in the stomach
The lady bled profusely through the mouth and nose and later succumbed to her injuries.
“Wanyonyi presented himself to the police on Saturday, September 11, 2022, and he reported to have murdered his wife whom they were staying with in Garissa County.
“The circumstances of the killing are that he realized that his wife was six months pregnant, and he was not the father”.
The suspect then fled to Nairobi on the same date before he submitted himself to the police to report.
He was placed in custody as the police from Garissa arrange to pick him up.
