Nuru Okanga, a staunch supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga, has cautioned the former prime minister against supporting President Ruto in the 2027 General Election.
Speaking with Nixon Njau at The Kenya Times, Okanga, expressed deep concerns over the recent political alignment between ODM and Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance UDA arguing that it undermines the interests of ordinary Kenyans.
Furthermore, Okanga emphasized that the ground is too hostile for President Ruto and that any relationship between Raila and Ruto will not bear fruit but will tarnish Raila’s legacy.
Additionally, he expressed his intention to vie for the MCA seat for Kholera Ward, Matungu Constituency, Kakamega County, Kenya.
