The 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams began on Friday, December 2 morning with 884,263 candidates set to undertake the national examination.
The KCSE candidates will kick off the examination with English Paper 1 and later in the afternoon sit for Chemistry Paper 1.
Nonetheless, a multi-agency team composed of Education officials has been dispatched across the country to monitor the administration of the examination.
Moreover, the Teachers Service Commission (CEO) Nancy Macharia will be supervising today’s activities in Mombasa County.
Meanwhile, Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) CEO Dr. David Njegere will be overseeing administration of the KCSE exams in Wajir and Mandera Counties.

At the same time, Prof. Charles Ong’ondo, who is the CEO of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) will supervise the day’s activities in Vihiga.
