Paul Khamala, a 41-year-old TikTok content creator from Bumula, Bungoma County, stated that he embarked on his content creation journey as a means of expressing his creativity and resilience after personal and financial challenges.
Speaking in an interview with Nixon Njau at The Kenya Times, Khamala said that before someone helped him open the TikTok account, he used to think that it was opened in Nairobi.
Further, he revealed that he decided to travel to Nairobi to meet his area MP for help, as he has been using an M-Kopa phone for his Content Creation.
While in the village, he did various works to make a living, including a brief stint at Mumias Sugar Company and later learning to paint houses.
