Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga has responded to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who said that he (Raila) and his father the late Jaramogi Odinga have caused political turmoil in the country for sixty years.
Speaking during a rally in Nakuru on Thursday, March 16, Raila countered the claims of the DP stating that Gachagua has no moral authority to address any one as the Deputy President because he was accused of theft.

“Gachagaua was accused of stealing money meant for the food aid of Laikipia residents. You have no right to stand in front of people as the Deputy President of Kenya. I am not your agemate!” Raila said.
The former Premier further stated that he is ready to pay the ultimate price while pursuing the democratic rights of every Kenyan.
“Gachagua is saying that he will finish me, how will he finish me? I can be stabbed; I can be shot. You can assassinate Raila Odinga physically, but you cannot assassinate the ideas and values for which Raila Odinga stands for. I am ready to pay the ultimate price,” Raila said.
On Wednesday, March 15 while addressing a gathering of leaders from Trans Nzoia county, Gachagua said that Raila’s years of mass protests will end.
“We shall face that Mzee. That Mzee has troubled Kenya for the last 60 years together with his father, the time to finish with him is now, he will go for good.”
