Dr Anthony Omerikwa, the CEO of Kenya’s National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA), has been honoured in Nigeria.
Omerikwa received the Outstanding Global Personality in Drug and Substance Abuse Prevention award at the ongoing African Youths Initiative on Crime Prevention (AYICRIP) Summit.
The recognition was presented to celebrate Omerikwa’s dedication to combating substance abuse among young people.
Further, his innovative leadership in youth development, empowerment, and drug prevention was highlighted, with the CEO being hailed for inspiring change not just in Kenya but across Africa.
