Paul Musyimi Nzengu is a Kenyan politician and a member of parliament who has served as the Member of Parliament for Mwingi North Constituency in Kitui County since 2017.
He is a member of the Wiper Democratic Movement of Kenya party.
Educational background of Paul Musyimi
Paul Musyimi Nzengu attended Itiivanzou Primary School, where he completed his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education between 1979 and 1989.
He then proceeded to Kitui High School, earning his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education from 1989 to 1992.
Later, Paul Musyimi studied at Moi University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Structural Engineering between 1994 and 2000.
Career life
Nzengu’s professional journey includes leadership roles in engineering and humanitarian sectors.
From 2000 to 2002, he served as Construction Manager for ZOA Refugee Care (Sudan).
He then worked as a Water and Sanitation Programmes Coordinator at Medair East Africa between 2001 and 2004.
This was followed by a position as WASH Programme Manager at CAFOD-London from 2004 to 2006.
Between 2006 and 2017, Paul Musyimi was Managing Director and Owner of Malili Construction and Engineering Works Ltd.

He entered electoral politics in August 2017, winning the seat as Member of Parliament for Mwingi North Constituency, and was re-elected in 2022.
In the 12th Parliament (2017–2022), Nzengu served as a member of both the Departmental Committee on Environment and Natural Resources and the Parliamentary Broadcasting & Library Committee.
From August 2021 to June 2022, he was elevated to Vice Chairperson of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee.
