The Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) has released the dates and issued guidelines for the November 2025 professional examinations.
PPB in a notice on Tuesday, September 23, said it will conduct the examinations for both pre-registration (Stage I and II) and enrolment (Level I and II) candidates.
Pre-registration exams (Stage I & II) are for individuals who have completed their pharmacy degree while pre-enrolment exams (Level I & II) are for those qualifying to enroll as pharmacy professionals.
According to the notice, these exams are scheduled to take place on November 17, 18, and 19, 2025. The board added that the examinations will be administered online through designated examination centres across the country. Candidates are advised to prepare accordingly and follow all the outlined requirements.
Application for PPB November 2025 professional exams
All candidates are required to make an application through the PPB online services portal. The deadline for submitting applications is October 31, 2025.

During the application process, candidates must also select their preferred examination centre. However, it is important to note that examination centres are subject to change, and candidates are advised to check the portal regularly for any updates.
In addition, candidates must ensure they have access to a suitable computer device with a stable internet connection.
PPB highlighted that the device should be fully charged and have enough power to run for at least three hours during the exam period.
Rehearsals and mock exams
Mandatory rehearsals will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the respective examination centres. These rehearsals are intended to help candidates familiarize themselves with the PPB online examinations portal and the procedures that will be followed during the actual exams.

Mock exams will also be conducted at home to provide additional practice using the portal. The specific dates for the mock exams will be communicated by the board in due course.
“The dates for the mock exams will be communicated in due course. The mock exams will be done at home,” the notice reads. “Any feedback or queries can be sent by e-mail to [email protected].”
The Pharmacy and Poisons Board is the drug regulatory authority established under the Pharmacy and Poisons Act, Chapter 244 of the Laws of Kenya, responsible for regulating the practice of pharmacy and the manufacture and trade of drugs and poisons.
