The Kenya Medical Training Center (KMTC) has announced one thousand seven hundred medical job opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
KMTC through the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (State Department for Labour and Skills Development) made the announcement while breaking down three categories of medical services work created for Kenyans to Saudi Arabia.
According to an advert seen by The Kenya Times, the KMTC stated they are recruiting 1,000 nurses, 500 Health Care assistant and 200 midwifery nurses.
Worth noting, this massive recruitment comes at height of the recent KMTC graduation that saw at least 22,000 students graduate nationwide.
KMTC Nursing Posts
In an advert dated December 15, 2023, KMTC announced 1,000 vacancy for Nurses preferably who have attained a Diploma in Nursing.

Further, the medical training institute stated that all the qualified nurses will be recruited according to their specialty.
Likewise, according to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection all the nurses applying must have a valid license from Nursing Council of Kenya and should have graduated recently.
“Valid Registration with Nursing Council of Kenya, Age: 22 – 35 Years, must have graduated recently,” read the advertisement.
Similarly, the ministry noted that nurses with more working experiences will be considered for better salaries.
Also, worth noting, the recruitment expenses shall be catered for by the recruiting employer.
“Nurses with more work experience will be considered for better salaries. Recruitment expenses to be paid for by the Recruiting Employer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” read the advert in part.
Notably according to the Ministry of Labour, the Nursing category is only open to female nurses.
Health Care Assistant 500 Posts
In addition, the Ministry in an advert dated December 15, 2023, also announced openings for five hundred Health Care assistant in Saudi Arabia.
According to the Ministry, candidates applying should hold at least a certificate in care giving.
“Certificate in Care Giving; Certificate in Community Health Nursing; Certificate in Enrolled Community Nursing,” read the advert in part.
Likewise, interested candidates are also expected to have a valid registration from the Nursing council of Kenya and should have at least one year experience.
Also, worth noting the position is open to female candidates aged 22 years to 35 years.
“Certificate in Nursing (According to Specialty), Valid Registration with Nursing Council of Kenya, Age: 22 – 35 Years, Minimum One (1) Year Continuous Experience,” read the advert in part.
Nursing and Midwifery 200 Posts
Similarly, the Ministry announced 200 jobs openings for the position of Nursing and Midwifery in Saudia Arabia.
Also, the Ministry noted that the position requires candidates who have attained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and the position is open to any genders.

“Bachelor of Science (Nursing Science); Bachelor of Science (Nursing); Bachelor of Science (Nursing, With IT),” read the advert in part.
Notably, the deadline for interested candidates to apply is December 31, 2023.
All applicants applying for the positions will not pay any fee and the Air tickets will be paid for by the government.
“Applicants are NOT required to pay any FEE to be appointed to the advertised job opportunity, Air ticket – Round trip air ticket / 1 year, Vacation – Paid 35 days/1 year, Meals – Provided by Ministry of Health (MOH), KSA,” read the advert in part.
Also, the Ministry noted that Housing, all insurance, transportation and overtime is all catered for by the Saudia Arabia Government and Kenyan government.
“Housing – Provided by MOH (KSA), Insurance – Provided by MOH (KSA), Transportation – Provided by MOH(KSA), Medical – Provided by MOH (KSA), Uniform – Provided by MOH (KSA), Overtime – In accordance with the Saudi Arabia Labour Laws,” read the statement in part.
To apply qualified candidates are asked to create an account with National Employment Authority afterwards will be directed on how to complete the required forms.
