The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) has announced several job openings as part of its ongoing efforts to promote integrity and fairness in Kenyan sports.
In a notice released on Monday, November 3, the agency said it is seeking to recruit qualified individuals to serve on an as-needed basis in four key roles.
“The Agency invites applications from suitable individuals to fill the following positions,” read the notice in part.
ADAK was established by the Government of Kenya through the Anti-Doping Act No. 5 of 2016, with its powers vested in a Board, headed by a Chairman.
The key mandate of the Agency is to protect athletes’ fundamental rights to participate in doping-free sport and thus promote good health, fairness, and equality for athletes in Kenya.

ADAK seeks to recruit 35 Doping Control Officers, 20 Anti-Doping Educators, 10 Blood Collection Officers, and 30 Chaperones.
Doping Control Officers will identify doping control stations and supervise the collection of samples from athletes and other sports personnel.
The anti-doping educators will implement educational initiatives tailored to different target audiences, including athletes, coaches, and support staff.
Blood Collection Officers will undertake blood sample collection duties as part of the agency’s anti-doping program in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code.
Doping control chaperones will notify athletes of their selection for doping control, document the notification, and ensure their rights are protected.
