The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) has today begun a nationwide verification of the voters roll ahead of the August 9 elections.
Members of the public will be required to visit their polling centers or constituency IEBC offices to verify their details in the register.
Register voters will have an opportunity to confirm if their biometric details were captured correctly during the registration process.
In a statement IEBC says the voter verification process is in accordance with sections 6A of the Elections Act,2011
Those whose details will have issues will be required to launch a complaint with constituency registration officers.
After the verification exercise and correction of mistakes, IEBC will move ahead to gazette the official voters roll that will be used in the August polls.
