In addition, he holds a Master of Laws Degree in Human Rights and International Law from the University of Indiana, where he graduated in 2011.
Further, in 2008, he earned Juris Doctorate Law from the University of Southern Illinois

He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Indiana.
Work Experience
Until January 2023, Dr. Ojwang was a Dean and Senior Lecturer at Africa Nazarene University.
He also worked as a Lecturer at the University of Nairobi from 2014 to 2016.
Duncan Oburu worked as a Legal Support Team Member for the UN Special Rapporteur for Indigenous Peoples under the United Nations Special Rapporteur from 2011 to 2012.
In addition, Ojwang has written opinion pieces for local publications.
He was part of the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) process and was among four individuals appointed by the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to provide technical assistance in bipartisan talks.
