Eliud Ngige is a Kenyan who was shortlisted for the position of member of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

He appeared before the IEBC Selection Panel chaired by Dr. Nelson Makanda on April 3, 2025.

Eliud Ngige Wanjao Academic Qualifications

Eliud Ngige holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi, which he earned in 1990.

In addition, in 1993, he graduated with a Certificate in Tax Administration from the Income Tax Training School.

Ngige completed a course in Strategic Leadership Development and Management from the Kenya School of Government.

Work Experience

Since 2017, Eliud Ngige has been working as a Director of Timstep Consulting Ltd and Sagana Manufacturers Ltd.

Prior to that he worked at Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) as the Senior Assistant Commissioner, Domestic Taxes, Large Taxpayers Office, Audit Operations, Policy and Investigations from 2007 to 2017.

He has worked as Assistant Commissioner, Domestic Taxes, a position he held from 2000 to 2007 before being promoted to senior Assistant commissioner.

Ngige worked as a Payroll Manager under Finance Department at domestic taxes from 1998 to 2000.

In 2022, Kirinyaga Woman Representative, Wangui Ngirici, named Ngige as her running mate in the race for governor seat, however they lost the seat to the Ann Waiguru.
