Journalist Betty Kyallo’s boyfriend Charlie Jones has shared a message citing that he has received death threats on Grand Theft Auto (GTA).

Taking to his Instagram stories, Charlie Jones posted an anonymous person who told him “You are next.” 

The unknown person appeared to use the username walkudowntilluexpire@affccb.org with no image on his avatar. 

Putting on a brave face, Charlie Jones replied, “Who got a GTA bounty on my name?”

In GTA, a bounty is a reward placed on a player’s head, usually in GTA Online. Other players can claim the bounty by killing the targeted player. Bounties can be set by NPCs (non-player characters) or by other players using Lester Crest (a character in the game) or by stealing NPC vehicles.

If a player survives the bounty for a certain period (usually 24 in-game hours, about 48 minutes in real-time), they get to keep the money.

Charlie Jones recently denied breakup rumors with his girlfriend Betty Kyallo, stating that his posts were influenced by alcohol. 

“That was the alcohol talking. I love my wife, and I want to apologize for my actions,” he said.

In the social media post, he clarified the information saying that the two are still together and in love.

However, he apologized to Betty for his actions adding that he is the one who should have been left not the other way round. Further, he revealed to the public that he and the media personality built the relationship from scratch.

Break-Up Speculations

Charlie Jones recently shared a cryptic message about break-up to spark speculations among Kenyans.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Charlie Jones posted a message reading, “Yes, we are done, even if she embarrasses me, I won’t lie on her name. She can talk about it however she can,” on Wednesday night. 

Jones also made another cryptic message on his Instagram talking about how men suffer from mental health issues, and the public ignores them.

“Nobody cares about a man’s mental health until it turns into anger, then everyone sees him as a bad person,” the message read.

Kyallo’s Young love

Rumors about her dating a 21-year-old were sparked by a post where she posted a snippet showing her and the boyfriend wearing matching outfits.

Kenyans reacting to the post claimed that they knew the man behind the picture and identified him as a 21-year-old named Jay.

The young relationship sparked negative reactions and heavy critics when she officially announced that she was dating a 21-year-old.
