The famous and controversial Televangelist Pastor Nga’nga has endorsed Erick Omondi’s sentiments on the collapse of the gospel industry. In a recent video, through his PTN TV Pastor Nganga admits to earlier disliking the comedian, but his stand on the gospel industry has won his heart.
The pastor further encouraged Eric to repent and go into ministry because he has the potential to make it big. “Eric Omondi if you see this and repent, you can be a big preacher. Ukiacha sarakasi. Juu huyo ni nabii alikua anaongea ndani yako. Mimi sikua nakupenda lakini vile niliskia ukikemea waimbaji.. nimependa. You have a big ministry inside you, but the devil has stolen you”.

The city preacher seems to agree with Eric’s sentiments on the collapse of the Gospel Music Industry accusing them of starting off as Gospel Musicians and branching off into the Secular industry once they make it. “Wale watu wamefanya hii kanisa imekua na zinaa mingi as you said ni top musicians, wakishaingia kwa top list kanisa uimbaji ya mungu inaisha wanaanza kuimba nyimbo za kawaida”.
Pastor Ngangas’ response comes a week after Eric went on a rant, calling out the Gospel Musicians for allegedly “letting us down” as a nation. He also accused them of sexual sin and threatened to expose a list of ten artists from the industry for allegedly spearheading the homosexuality agenda in the country.
This is a sigh of relief for Eric as many musicians seemed to disagree with his sentiments questioning his authority and motive. Justina Syokau, Daddy Owen are among the artists that hit back at him. Eric Omondi reposted the video on his Instagram account and captioned it “Thank you man of God”.
