Career and Life of the Award-Winning Kenyan Journalist
Eunice is a 2021 winner of the Africa Media Health Network. She tramped her competition, emerging the Best TV and overall, health reporter under the mental health category.

Kimani Mbugua’s Story
Former Citizen TV journalist Kimani Mbugua is also battling mental health diseases and his story has made headlines since 2022 when he pleaded for help from Kenyans.
However, new details of his story emerged when his father revealed that Kimani’s troubles began after his drink was spiked with cocaine by unknown women.
He said that his son, the firstborn child, hosted his birthday party at a club on days leading to February 24 and he was never the same again after the event.
They retrieved a video recording of Mbugua with unknown women in the club vomiting and acting in an unusual manner and one of the women spiked Kimani’s drink with a white substance which they later learnt was cocaine.
