Police in Busia County are investigating the incident where the body of an unidentified man was found in River Obekai in Teso South Constituency.
According to preliminary investigations the body was found by locals floating in the River in Teso South Constituency, Busia County.
Moreover, witnesses who spoke to Citizen Digital, said the body was already disfigured when the locals found it.
“We could not identify the deceased upon retrieving it. He must have died a couple of days, if not weeks ago,” a resident said.

To help identify the body, the Teso area police urged families that have reported cases of missing relatives to visit Alupe Hospital mortuary to assist in identifying the body.
