Kenyan content creator Koku Lwanga has shared a shocking revelation on social media, accusing her estranged husband, comedian and The Trend co-host Daddie Marto (Martin Githinji), of domestic violence.
Lwanga has also accused the comedian of emotional abuse and infidelity in a series of deeply personal Instagram posts.
In the detailed posts, Koku recounted a disturbing confrontation that allegedly ended with Marto physically assaulting her outside his new residence.
The two, who have been in the public eye for years and share children together, appear to have been separated but are living within the same compound.
“You are bringing another woman in my presence to ‘the so-called office’ (he took a 2-bedroom in a different block but same compound as we separated).
“I did not deserve you throwing blows and kicks to my head, neck, and back while I lay on the ground in a fetal position simply because I came to confront you and your side chick,” Koku wrote.

Koku Lwanga on How She Caught Daddie Marto Cheating
According to Koku, she was in the kitchen baking late at night when she saw her husband and another woman walk into his house.
When he ignored her, she went to his door and asked him to consider how hurtful his actions were, only to be met with violence.
Also, Koku wrote that she has been struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, and financial stress, all while raising their children and attempting to hold her family together.
She added that the abuse did not just start with the physical assault, but was also emotional and financial.
“He will fold his hands into a fist and hit your head multiple times, hit your neck and back till swollen and kick you while laying down till a neighbor screams at him to stop.”
“You claim to not have money to cater for the household but you have money to fuel your car and go pick up your hoe. And I’m sure you have money to take her on dates as well,” she stated painfully.
The couple had been publicly known for their relationship, parenting content, and media appearances.

The Sacrifices Made in the Marriage
Although Marto’s star has continued to rise in Kenya’s entertainment scene, Koku revealed that she had been the one sacrificing behind the scenes, from funding their first camera to bearing the emotional toll of motherhood and marital instability.
“I used to be so 10 toes down about you. We built something out of nothing. I literally withdrew my little savings to get our first camera because I mean we were doing this right?” she questioned.
She also accused Daddie Marto of hacking her accounts, gaslighting her, and running a smear campaign to justify leaving their marriage, all while denying her dignity or consideration.
“The stalking and recording our conversations, the hacking into my account, emails, DMs, WhatsApp… The demanding I pay 20k for living here with the children… I swallowed this very obvious financial abuse.”
Daddie Marto has not yet issued a public response, but fans and advocates demanding answers and justice.
