After a short round of fun and an introduction of guests present, Chipukeezy invited Butita on the stage as his first guest.
The two, both seasoned and tested, combined their stand-up comedy prowess to set the mood of the show with their performances leaving the viewers in stitches.
Then followed a round of interactions with a group of the generation of entertainers including Bena wa Malines, KK Mwenyewe.
Chipukeezy Journey
The show marked a new in Chipukeezy’s career after a hiatus from comedy and focus on politics.
Chipukeezy broke into the limelight and national comedy industry during his days at Churchill Show in 2013.
As a budding standup comedian, his experience was not always rosy in his initial stages as revealed in his interviews.
He had to compete with a pool of comedians, both seasoned and new, to make the cut for the main shows which used to air on NTV.

His resilience, however, helped him maintain a regular spot on the show and eventually earned a job at Kiss FM as a radio presenter.
He would later launch his own Chipukeezy Show which aired on Ebru TV and on YouTube.
Comedy and politics
Moreover, his influence and youth-oriented activities saw him land a position as a Director of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Drug Abuse (NACADA).
Until his new show, the comedian was involved in Kenya Kwanza’s campaigns and later in the government led by President William Ruto.
He was set to make his comedy show comeback on August 5 but was forced to postpone it after falling ill.
