Doctors at Nakuru Teaching and Referral Hospital have revealed potential causes for the death of TikToker Milka Nyaituga, alias Milly wa Doc, who passed away on June 2, 2025.
While speaking in a media interview with NTV, one of the doctors at the facility stated that Milly’s death may have been linked to pregnancy-related issues.
According to the doctor, Milly wa Doc was admitted to the facility on June 26 as a referral from a private hospital. She was fairly unstable upon arrival.
“The issue at that time was heavy bleeding and pain, alongside a pregnancy of approximately six months. So she was stabilized, transfused, and then taken to the theater around 5 p.m., where the surgery aimed to remove the pregnancy and, of course, stop the bleeding,” one of the Nakuru doctors said.

Since Milly wa Doc’s death, various speculations have emerged regarding the factors that may have contributed to her passing. Milly openly discussed her struggles with depression and past toxic relationships, which some believe may have adversely affected her overall health, potentially worsening her condition.

Milly’s death sparked discussions across various social media platforms, with Kenyans and different political leaders calling for an investigation into her death.
