DP Ruto Claims Raila May Have Bewitched Kalonzo Musyoka

Kenya Kwanza Presidential Candidate DP William Ruto now claims Raila Odinga may have bewitched Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

While addressing Kitui County residents, Deputy President Ruto said Kalonzo dropping his Presidential bid to support Azimio La Umoja Candidate Raila Odinga for a third consecutive election shocked him.

Moreover, Ruto asked the Akamba community to support his presidential bid, saying he was the ideal candidate.  DP Ruto further stated that, if elected President, he will not disrespect Kalonzo.

“If not for any other reason is that this person (Raila) has really oppressed the Kamba people and taken them to the opposition. I know Kalonzo does not like me, but I will still help him. Or this person (Raila) has bewitched him?” he stated.

Likewise, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka had earlier on defended his decision to support Raila Odinga’s presidential bid, saying that he had negotiated with the Akamba community’s interests in mind.

Meanwhile, the Azimio Presidential candidate has asked his supporters to vote in the six-piece to give numerical strength in parliament that he needs to run the government, when he clinches power.

Furthermore, while addressing voters when he kicked off his five-day marathon rally across six counties, Odinga expressed his concerns that his administration may be held frustrated by the William Ruto led Alliance should they obtain a majority in the House.

Nonetheless, the Azimio leader urged residents to ensure that they turn up to the last man to vote for Raila and ODM candidates. Adding that every vote cast is crucial in the presidential elections.
