The receiver told police that an unknown man called him on Friday, August 8, saying that he had a parcel for him.
After he gave out his location, the sender dispatched a rider to deliver the package.
The receiver was in a bar when the rider called to inform him that he had arrived.
Upon receiving the envelope and opening it, the man discovered three human fingers and bullets inside.
The fingers were taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary for verification, while the bullets were sent for ballistic testing.
Police who arrived at the scene confirmed the parcel contained three fingers: a forefinger, a ring finger, and a little finger, all from the left hand.
It also contained four 7.62mm and two 9mm live bullets.
There was no written message inside.
