KANU Chairman Gideon Moi made a public appearance alongside leaders from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) on Saturday, July 12, during a well-attended engagement ceremony held in Trans Nzoia County.
Gideon was one of the many guests who came to witness the traditional engagement of Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang and Channelle Kittony, who serves as the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure.
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, a strong UDA supporter and a close ally of President William Ruto, confirmed on social media that he had also attended the event.
“I attended the engagement ceremony of Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang and Channelle Kittony, CECM for Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure in Trans Nzoia County,” Sudi wrote.
“The ceremony was attended by KANU Chairman Gideon Moi, local leaders, family, and friends. Channelle Kittony is the daughter of my good friend Kiprono Kittony and the granddaughter of former Senator and Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organization (MYWO) chairperson Zipporah Kittony.”
