Harambee Starlets coach Beldine Odemba has named a 23-squad ahead of their international friendlies in Algeria.
The 23-player squad is set to travel to Algeria for two international friendlies later this month. The fixtures are scheduled for November 26 and November 30, 2025.
The matches will be played in Bilda as they prepare for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Changes made in the squad
Odemba has made several changes from the team that secured WAFCON qualification against Gambia. The key additions made are Emily Moranga, Providence Mukalo, Valerie Nekesa, Sheryl Muyera, and Euphraiser Shilwatso.
Providence Mukalo, from Vihiga Queens, returns to the national team, while Zetech Sparks defender Sheryl Muyera earns her first call. Euphraiser Shilwatso has also received the call to the squad after a late call during the WAFCON qualifier match against Gambia.
Ulinzi Starlets duo Tabitha Amoit and Lavender Ann are unavailable as they undergo military training at the Kenya Defence Forces Recruit Training School (DFRTS) in Eldoret. Violet Nanjala also misses as she continues recovering from an injury sustained during the second leg win over Gambia.

Harambee Starlets secure a position in WAFCON 2026
The Algeria friendlies come at a crucial moment for the women’s national team. Earlier this month, Starlets sealed a commanding 4–1 victory over Gambia in the WAFCON qualifiers, securing their position in WAFCON 2026, the second time in history after their debut in 2016.
The two matches will provide the team with an assessment ahead of the March 2026 championship in Morocco.
The team will report to camp on Friday, November 21, for training and depart for Algeria on Sunday, November 23.
