Government Chief Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor has refused to conduct the postmortem on the body of the late X influencer Albert Ojwang.
Dr. Oduor reported on Monday, June 9, that the late Albert Ojwang is his relative and therefore there is a conflict of interest in the case.
Consequently, the medical procedure, which was meant to take place at 2:00 PM, has been postponed. Additionally, reports indicate that Dr. Oduor spent the morning in the company of Albert Ojuang’s family.
He is said to have attended a private meeting with his immediate relatives from the family. However, the details of their discussion remain undisclosed.

Among the doctors expected are representatives from the Police Reforms Working Group and the Independent Medico Legal Unit (IMLU), ensuring that the postmortem proceeds under independent oversight.
Ojwang died while in police custody at the central police station after his arrest. He was accused of misinformation against the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Eliud Lagat.
