“We are still in shock after receiving the news that he went missing. There are no records of misconduct in school. He could not have left school without the authority of the school administration,” the family stated.
Moreover, reports indicate that the 17-year-old’s mother was called last week by the school, saying her son was unwell

Furthermore, while addressing Citizen Digital, Fredrick Odhiambo, who is an officer at human rights organization HAKI Africa called for investigation into the matter.
“We demand that the school and the Ministry of Education gets to the bottom of this matter. We demand that the school tells us where the boy is. We are calling on the government to take action against the management of this school,” Odhiambo stated.
