Kenyans Warned Against Company Hiring for Dubai Jobs

Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary (CS) Dr. Alfred Mutua has warned Kenyans about a company named CSC Compliancy which claims to be hiring Kenyans for various jobs in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In a statement on January 15, Mutua said the company is fake and not registered with the government of Kenya.

Mutua explained that details about CSC Compliancy are unavailable, and they do not have job demands for the positions they are advertising.

“Warning: The company CSC Compliancy is fake and unregistered. It has not uploaded any job demands, and its activities are unknown to us,’ Mutua said.

Alfred Mutua Advise to Kenyans

He said investigative agencies and a compliance team have sent to establish the company’s operations.

Mutua advised Kenyans to stop any involvements with the activities with CSC Compliancy the government completes investigations.

“We are dispatching our compliance team and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to take necessary action. Do not engage with this company until it is officially cleared by the National Employment Authority (NEA),” he said.

About CSC Compliance Job Poster

Attached to his statement was a poster from the company promoting various job positions in Dubai.

The positions included waiter & waitresses, assistant cooks/commis male, cleaner both genders, steward both genders, cashier both genders, and office boy/office girl.

Others are catering supervisors both genders, assistant cleaning supervisor both genders, and assistant storekeeper both genders.

CSC Compliancy also listed assistant catering supervisor male, commis cook male, storekeeper male, assistant chief steward male, cook male, and baker.

Butcher male, technician male, chief steward male, light driver male, heavy driver male, and catering assistant male were also in the poster.

The Company also said it is seeking logistics assistant male, pastry cook male, and pest controller.

Other positions in the poster are salad maker male, store assistant male, cleaning supervisor, bartender male, lifeguard male, and chef male positions.

Requirements

CSC Compliancy listed the requirements for the advertised positions including a curriculum vitae, valid passport and copy recommendation letter.

According to the poster, the interviews are to be held on January 15, 2025.

The company stated that its offices are located at Chieko Plaza, Block C, and urged Kenyans to reach out through the phone number 0722348307 for more information.

Under its project, Kazi Majuu, Kenya is sending droves of jobless citizens to foreign countries, especially in the Middle East for employment through partnerships with host countries.
