Kiriri Women’s University of Science and Technology (KWUST) has announced job opportunities for different carders.
In an advert on Friday, March 22, KWUST declared vacancies for lecturers, administrators and customer care officers.
“Applicants are invited to fill the following Academic positions in the: School of Education, School of Computer Science and Information Technology Department of Hospitality and Management,” the notice read in part.
In addition, the institution is seeking to hire Senior Lecturer and applicants must have a PhD from an accredited University.
At the same time, those interested in being hired as Senior Lecturers must have at least 3 years of full-time teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer or 6 years of post-qualification research or industry experience.

A minimum of 32 publication points as a Lecturer or equivalents and at least 24 should be from refereed scholarly journals.
One should have supervised at least 3 postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer.
Registration with a relevant professional body is also a mandatory requirement for this post.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach, supervise students, and initiate and carry out research.
Lecturer jobs at Kiriri Women’s University
Additionally, KWUST has vacancies for lecturers.
Applicants must possess an earned PhD Degree from a recognized University in the area of specialization.
They must have at least 3 years of full-time teaching experience at the University level in the relevant area.
In addition, they must have a minimum of at least two articles published in refereed journals and minimum of 24 publication points, evidence of active participation in Departmental activities and good quality teaching, evidence of ability to attract research funding is an added advantage.
Systems Administrators
The university also announced job opportunities for systems administrators.
Those interested in the opening should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
They should also prove experience of five (5) years working in a similar role, preferably in an Institution of Higher Learning.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking protocols, and security principles.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting software applications, knowledge of management information systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Nav.
Also, they are required to be able to manage learning management systems such as Moodle and be familiar with server administration.
Customer care officers
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field and experience of 4 years in the field.
Other skills required include proficiency in using CRM software, digital marketing tools, goal-oriented among others.
Furthermore, one should have a mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving results.
Adaptability, ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment are also required.
