National carrier Kenya Airways (KQ) on Thursday, September 28 announced additional flights from Nairobi to London from 10 to 14 times weekly.
In a statement, the airline said that the introduction of the two flights daily would be effective from October 29.
“Kenya’s national carrier, Kenya Airways (KQ) has today announced the introduction of two daily flights to London effective 29th October 2023,” the statement read.
Additionally, the Kenya Airways said that it was a relief for the weekly customers as they would enjoy increased travel options with two flights per day.
“The airline’s customers can now choose between a morning flight via KQ 100 and an evening flight via KQ 102 allowing more travel options, convenience, and flexibility,” the notice added.
Moreover, Kenya Airways has been operating flights to London since its inception as a gateway to the United Kingdom (UK) for business travel, leisure travel, trade, and education travel.

Further, the company said that the KQ will deploy the 8787 Boeing Dreamliner on the route to enable them to get 14 flights per week.
“The additional weekly flights will cater to the increased market demand for this route and growing passenger demand,” the statement read.

The fully endorsed Trafficking in Persons Policy came into effect in January 2023, outlines the airlines stand and actions against Human Trafficking.
Kenya Airways Cargo was on 4 May 2023 granted the Center of Excellence for Independent Validators (CEIV) Pharma certification for the KQ Pharma Facility Nairobi by The International Air Transport Association (IATA).
This positive accreditation legally acknowledges the airline’s continued ability to handle high-value, time-sensitive, and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical shipping with the speed and consistency required by shippers.
