In light of past attacks across the country, the Wildlife Service advises Kenyans not to run if they encounter a wild animal, as this may provoke a chase due to the animal’s natural instincts.
However, KWS once captured public attention by providing tips on how to react when encountering a hyena.
They advised Kenyans to stay calm and try talking to the hyena instead of running.
A statement that Kenyans found hilarious and wondered which language they should use to communicate with the scavenger.
