The Drowning Tragedy
According to a police report, at about 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 28, the students drowned at a man-made dam while on a fun trip.
Notably, the five who succumbed were part of a group of Standard Six and Standard Eight pupils accompanied by teachers to a hotel for recreational activities.
However, when the pupils, and the teachers went out for a boat ride, the boat capsized killing five students and leaving behind one survivor.
Nonetheless, angry parents stormed the school seeking information on the whereabouts of their children and an explanation on what happened.
