Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Homicide department have arrested two suspects in connection with the brutal murder of Tanzanian businessman Gerald Raphael Ramale.
The suspects, Dennis Abiola, also known as Wolfan, and his girlfriend, Christine Moraa, were apprehended at Entarara-Loitoktok near the Kenya-Tanzania border.
Ramale was discovered dead on the night of March 24, 2024, by his nephew.
The businessman was found lying in a pool of blood at his home on 12th Street, 2nd Avenue in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
He had been stabbed multiple times and the suspects allegedly stole two mobile phones, a Samsung Galaxy S10 and an Oppo Reno 8T, from the scene.
DCI officers traced the suspects to their hideout in Loitoktok. The stolen phones were recovered upon their arrest.

The two suspects have since been arraigned in court and police have obtained custodial orders to hold the suspects until July 7, when the case will be mentioned.
Suspect Who Stabbed EX-Boyfriend Three Times
In another report on June 13, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) launched a manhunt for 35-year-old Mary Mwende Kimwalu, who was suspected of attempting to kill her ex -boyfriend.

According to DCI, Mwende stabbed her ex-boyfriend three times in the chest using a kitchen knife in April 2023 before disappearing.
The detectives have since indicated that the suspect is still in the country, asking Kenyans to share any information to help with her apprehension.
Mwende had since cut communication with her family members and friends and remained in hiding.
“Mwende did not only hole up, but also cut communication with her family, known friends and has since avoided places she previously frequented hence paralyzing efforts to bring her to justice,” DCI noted in a statement.
Arrested Prime Suspect in Manager’s Murder
Additionally, a 25-year-old man was arrested in connection with the murder of the manager at Chandarana Supermarket in Buffalo Mall, Naivasha.

Joseph Mungai Wanjira was apprehended on June 5 after detectives located his hideout in Naivasha town.
“Joseph Mungai Wanjira was flushed out of his hideout within Naivasha town at 1 p.m. today, following days of scrupulous search for the cold-blooded killer,” the DCI stated.
The murder occurred on May 22, 2024, when supermarket employees arrived early to find the store’s doors locked.
Upon his arrest, Wanjira was found in possession of most of the items stolen from the deceased’s house.
