Morara’s statement on the accident
“I don’t want to blame anyone without evidence, but I know I am on a clock. I have too many enemies to start guessing who can do it. The government officials that we have exposed, the opposition that feels we are taking their space, rising tribal chiefs that feel like our message might dilute their influence, presidential candidates who think I will run against them, contractors who have been paid money and disappeared, sympathetic of the corrupt. The list is endless,” the outspoken activist explained.
Following the incident, the outspoken activist has decided to review his security detail going forward.
At the same time, Morara said he would avoid attending meetings that extend into the night.
