Environment Chief Officer Geofrey Mosiria has rescued Bungoma Goliath, stuck on the streets of Nairobi after he was abandoned minutes after attending Oga Obinna’s interview.
Geoffrey said he came to his rescue after Goliath Wa Bungoma had called him several times.

Goliath Wa Bungoma whose real name is Isaac Otewa narrated how he had come from an interview on Obinna Show Live, and did not have anywhere to go.
Bungoma Goliath asked for fare to get to Bungoma
When asked how wanted to be helped, he told Mosiria that he just wanted a place to spend the night as he would travel to Bungoma the following day.
“Ningeomba tu mtu anisaidie na fare ya kufika Bungoma, shilingi mia tano( I would like to ask for well-wishers to give me fare to at least get to Bungoma, the fare is Ksh500), added Isaac.

Otewa went on to say that he had not heard anything from the leaders who had pledged to help him.
“Hakuna mwenye amenisaidia, nilipigia Salasya na hakushika simu, nikamtumia message, hakujibu. (None of them has helped me I called Salasya but he did not respond, I then texted him and he did not respond either,)” said Otewa.
The county chief then promised to facilitate him to get to Bungoma before taking him to a lodging, to spend the night. He also told him that he would get him a job as a watchman or a bouncer for a club.

Mike Sonko and Salasya pledge to help
In November 2024, Bungoma Goliath did a video asking for help from former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, saying he has no job, and has nowhere to sleep.
Mike Sonko and Mumias East Member of Parliament pledged to help Bungoma Goliath shortly after the video went viral.

“Huyu hakuna handouts (this one does not need handouts). At the moment, tuko high season biasharas ziko very booming wacha nimpe job na basics ajipange kimaisha (where in the season where businesses are booming so I’ll give him a job and a few basics so that he can plan his life,” said Sonko.
Bungoma Goliath rose to fame following his extraordinary height.
