Police have launched investigations after the body of an unidentified man has been found dumped at Kitengela Junction on Monday, February 3.
The deceased, a male estimated to be around 30 years old, had a visible cut on his leg, and his legs appeared to have been tied together before being abandoned at the scene.
Additionally, he has marks of strangulation on his neck.
Witnesses have detailed that the body was found in the afternoon dumped at the riverbed along Mombasa Road, near the Athi/Kitengela River Interchange.
Locals who milled at the scene expressed shock and concern over the incident.

Bodies Discovered in Recent Weeks
On January 25, different human body parts in a sack were dumped in the Mathare River, near the Riverside Bridge in Kariobangi.
Locals said that body parts were discovered by a street child. However, the sack did not contain two upper arms, one hand, two legs and the head.
Shortly after on January 28, the decomposing body of a middle-aged man was found in a thicket on the outskirts of Kakamega town in Kakamega County.
According to locals, the body was discovered unclothed with a sack beside it.
Another witness revealed that the body was swollen, and the head had no skin, while another witness suggested the body might belong to a domestic worker who had been missing for days.
Also, in a separate incident, a lifeless body, believed to belong to a youth, was spotted floating beneath the bridge opposite Astro Petrol Station on Wednesday, January 15.
In videos shared online, a well-wisher proceeds to the pool of water under the bridge to pull out the body of the man, dressed in a red sweater and black shorts, with his legs left bare.

Abduction Cases in Kenya
According to the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR), at least 82 cases of abductions have been reported since June last year, when youth-led protests against the Finance Bill began.
In the last three months of 2024 alone, at least 13 abduction cases were recorded, with December accounting for seven, the Commission previously reported.
Currently, the whereabouts of six young Kenyans, believed to have been abducted by state security officers, remain unknown. Their families have now entered the new year with lingering uncertainty and unanswered questions.
While security agencies have been accused of orchestrating the abductions, which started after the protests in June, the National Police Service has denied any involvement.
President William Ruto, on December 27, vowed to end the abductions in order to restore public trust in national security but remained reserved on the details.
