The lady’s death sparks social media debate
A popular social media user, Nakuru Mayor, commented, “Security personnel manning KICC sleep on the job, even those monitoring the CCTV. I’d rather have fewer security people who work. This case should be fully investigated. I once interacted with these people when my valuables were stolen at KICC, and I eventually gave up.”
Another user, Aziz Mire, suggested that depression may have taken a toll on the woman, leading her to take her own life.
“Once again, it’s proven that depression hides in plain sight behind the face of a normal, functioning person,” Mire said.

Ahmed Salim remarked, “Suicide is either getting out of hand, or we’re just hearing about it more. There’s a root cause. Stress is burdening our kids at a very young age.”
