A passenger was found dead at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi waiting lounge.
According to police probing the matter, the 43-year-old deceased passenger was on his way to Mombasa on Saturday, April 8 night.
He had already checked in and was waiting to board but failed to show up on the plane as required.
Moreover, Jambojet airline officials reported that they called his name severally asking him to board the plane, but all was in vain.
“He had taken one of the seats at the waiting lounge and died there holding a traveling bag,” the airline officials stated adding that they are yet to establish the cause of the death.
After realizing the passenger was motionless on the seat at the waiting lounge, the officials alerted the airline’s clinical officers who attended to him before pronouncing him dead.
Nairobi police are yet to establish the cause of death.
Family of the deceased have been informed of the unfortunate death of their loved one.

Likewise, the body of the deceased was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and further probe.
Nonetheless, the Nairobi Police said investigations into the death of a passenger are underway.
