Politicians and other leaders have been asked to learn from Interior Principal Secretary (PS) Dr. Raymond Omollo. Michael Odari, Raymond Omollo Foundation Representative, made this appeal during a charity exercise in Kibra, Nairobi County.
The Foundation made donations to Kibra Fort FC and TVC FC on Sunday. July 13, 2025.
The two community teams received kits, balls, gloves, and nets from the foundation.
Dr. Raymond Omollo Foundation has continued its sports mashinani initiative, donating football kits to boost grassroots talent development.
Odari said the goal is to unite the youth in Kibra and other parts of the City County.
He asked other leaders to copy Omollo’s acts and work to promote solidarity among the youth.
Odari slammed a section of politicians for bribing the youth and providing them with arms to fight each other.
“Raymond Omollo is doing this so that he can also bring the youth together. He is asking other leaders to follow suit. Instead of giving the youth Ksh500 and weapons to fight among themselves, they should do the same,” Odari said.
Fort FC and Kibra TVC FC
Fort FC, formed to help youth of white crime, hopes to rise through the ranks with this support.
Kibra TVC FC Captain Clinton Otieno said the Club started recently but has plans to play in Kenya’s top tier in the future.
“We formed this team to help young people not get involved in crimes. It has helped us a lot since young people are not thinking about committing crimes. We started as a small team recently. We want to plan and join a league starting from the sub-county level,” Otieno said.

PS Raymond Omollo Requested to Offer Trials
Players requested PS Omollo, who is also Kenya Police FC’s patron, to help them access trials with the Kenya Premier League champions.
Fort FC Captain Paul Ochieng thanked PS Omollo, stating that Kibra has talented players but lacks financial assistance.
“We thank him and ask him to continue helping us because our team needs a lot of things. We also ask that one day we can play for the Police FC, Gor Mahia, or Tusker FC in our school. This school is for people who have talent and have not received support,” Ochieng said.

Foundation Pledges More Support
The foundation says it will continue supporting sports initiatives across the country to promote unity, equality, and peace.
Raymond Omollo Foundation focuses on empowering women and the youth across the country.
It provides mentorship, livelihood training, microloans, and material assistance to widows and the youth.
