Kenyan comedian and media personality Vincent Muasya, also known as Chipukeezy, has hit out at protest organizers urging them to stop derailing the Kenya Kwanza government.
In a video shared on October 23, Chipukeezy registered his dissatisfaction stating that he cannot decline invitations to work with leaders including Members of the County Assembly due to pressure from anti-government crusaders.
“You people who keep on judging us due to the work we do, it will be hard for me to leave working and join you online. Am I that stupid?” Chipukeezy remarked.
“If am called to work as an MC then I stop because you want us to change Kenya, you change I will join you later.”
At the same time, the former Churchill show comedian wished the haters and protest organizers well in their determination to bring revolution to the country.

Chipukeezy Call to Protest Organizers
Chipukeezy went on to note that the Kenya they look forward to, should have a space for everybody and that the haters and protest organizers themselves should accommodate the views of those they do not agree with.
“The fact is there is no amount of protest you will do to help you as a person. How does it help you; how does it help your people while you are in the streets?” he rhetorically questioned.
In addition, he compared the current situation to other prominent leaders who at one point were started as young leaders with the spirit of bringing revolution but never reaped the fruits.
Finally, he called on the protesters to leave the government to do its work. On the same note, he hinted that the only way to remedy the situation is by voting in a different government which is only possible and applicable in the coming 2027 elections.

The GenZ Revolution
In June and July 2024, anti-government protestors in what was referred to in some quarters as the GenZ revolution demanded the Government drop the Finance Bill 2024.
Some youth under the Genz movement came in a different wave calling for the removal of President William Ruto.
The Kenyan young generation showed much dissatisfaction with the rampant corruption from politicians.
