The Executive Office of the President in State House has announced an open national tender open for all Kenyans, for the provision of consultancy services.
In a notice on Tuesday, March 12, the Comptroller indicated that the consultancy services were required for a public awareness and sensitization campaign.
Additionally, the notice explained that the campaign will be for programs at the office of the first lady, Rachel Ruto.
“The Executive Office of the President, State House invites sealed request for proposal documents from eligible interested bidders for
“Provision of Consultancy Services for a Public Awareness and Sensitization campaign for the Programs at the Office of the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya,” the statement read in part.
How to Apply
Subsequently, the notice detailed that interested persons could submit their applications by filling up tender documents available at www.president.go.ke, or https://supplier.treasury.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke.
At the same time, applicants were directed to submit the original and copy of the completed tender proposal documents at the Tender Box located at State House Nairobi Gate D.

Also, the documents ought to be addressed to the Comptroller of State House at P. O. Box 40530-00100 NAIROBI.
“A complete set of Request for Proposal (RFP) Tender documents may be downloaded by the eligible bidders from the State House website free of charge,
“Complete RFP Tender Documents, both “Original” and “Copy”, enclosed in plain sealed envelope, marked with Request for proposal description and Tender under Number should be deposited at the Tender Box located at State House Nairobi Gate D,” added the statement.
Deadline set for submitting applications is Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 11.00 am East African Time
Requirements for Application of State House Tender
On the other hand, the notice asked applicants to quote prices in Kenya Shillings that are inclusive of taxes.
Also, the request for proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond of Kenya Shillings Five Hundred Thousand (Ksh500,000) from a reputable bank or an insurance company approved by Public Procurement Regulatory.

“Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings and should remain valid for 126 days,
“Request for proposal will be opened immediately thereafter at Executive Office of the President – State House Nairobi, Administrative Block Boardroom in the presence of candidates or their representatives who choose to attend,” added the notice.
The Comptroller indicated that large documents that cannot fit in the tender box will be received and registered at Executive Office of the President, State House Nairobi, Supply Chain Management Services Office.
“The Executive Office of the President, State House reserves the right to reject or accept in whole or in part any tender without obligation to give reasons for the decision,” the statement added.
