Susan Announces Digitization of All Government Services
Earlier, Nakuru County Government had announced its plan on digitizing and automating all key services to increase revenue streams and improve service delivery in the county in October.
Governor Susan Kihika said that the innovative use of information and communication technology would contribute to effective revenue collection management while also sealing income leakages and addressing other shortcomings in the devolved unit.
“Essential services offered by the County Government including revenue collection, planning and development approvals, issuance of Single Business Permits (SBP) and trade licenses will soon be available on the e-citizen platform. This will eradicate corruption in revenue collection,” she stated.
