Moreover, Purity Wangechi’s body which bore visible stab wounds and strangulation marks was discovered Saturday morning by the roadside near Mburiria estate, in Kiambu county.
Police say Wangechi was in a relationship with her killer before finding out he was a thug and confronted him about it. The confrontation led to a misunderstanding between them. Therefore, Wangechi left school on Friday to meet Wanyoike in Kirigiti, to try and to sort out their issue but walked into a death trap.
In the early Sunday morning raid, police officers recovered a vegetable knife suspected to have been the weapon used to stab the victim. The three suspects are now in custody for the offence of murder.
