WPP Scangroup PLC on October 21, 2025, announced the appointment of Brayie Akua Owusu-Nartey as the new Group Chief Executive Officer and CEO of Ogilvy Africa, effective November 17, 2025.

Owusu-Nartey brings over 18 years of experience in integrated communications, brand transformation, and business growth across multiple African markets.
Her career spans leadership roles in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia, where she has consistently delivered results for global and regional brands.
“She is a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing large cross-functional teams and turning around underperforming businesses,” the announcement noted.
WPP Scangroup has also cited Akua’s approach to leadership, noting that she emphasizes client engagement and operational excellence as the qualities that have earned her recognition within the industry.

Akua Owusu-Nartey’s Record
