Rooms And Suites

Accommodation at Lion In The Sun reflects the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Malindi, Kenya.

The property is designed for adults and teenagers aged 12 or older. Families with younger children are directed to the nearby family-friendly Billionaire Beachfront Apartments.

Standard Room
The Standard Room is a spacious suite styled in Afro-colonial design. It includes a four-poster bed, tribal masks, African wall art, wooden floors, and rattan furniture.

The décor combines minimalism with tropical elements, creating a comfortable space for couples seeking a quiet retreat.

The Suite Room offers larger interiors with direct access to the saltwater pools.

Its décor blends African and Middle Eastern influences, including rugs, flowing curtains, tribal artifacts, and wall carvings in the shape of Africa.

Garden and pool views make it a private and peaceful option, suitable for a couple or a small family. There are six units available.

Superior Double Room
The Superior Double Room builds on the Afro-chic colonial style, adding an extra touch of elegance.

It includes a lounge with wooden sofas, soft fabric cushions, suspended lanterns, handcrafted sculptures, and fresh flowers.

A four-poster bed occupies the bedroom, and arched doorways open onto the garden and pool area. Decorative elements such as African maps, artisanal pottery, and woven textures highlight local craftsmanship.

Master Suite Lion
The Master Suite is the largest accommodation option. It features expansive interiors, a king-size bed, a private veranda, and an open-air lounge beneath a makuti roof.

The bathroom includes twin basins, a sunken tub, and a separate shower.

The suite incorporates traditional Kenyan architectural details, textured living spaces, and design elements inspired by the lion, a symbol of the local environment.
