Kiririmbi show host and news editor Waweru wa Nyambura has left Inooro TV, owned by the Royal Media Services (RMS), in an emotional farewell bid.
The Inooro TV news anchor at RMS had served for 10 years, 6 months, and 27 days as of his exit day on June 21.
During his signing-off, Waweru thanked the RMS management and the listeners for their support during his tenure as Kiririmbi host and Inooro TV news anchor.
Waweru Wa Nyambura’s last show with Inooro featured Nyandarua Senator John Methu as his guest, during which he announced his exit, giving the children a special shout-out for growing his audience throughout the years.
“After ten years, six months and 27 days at the Royal Media Services company, today I have completed my job, especially news anchoring. I appreciate you for supporting me to the end in my journey, listening to me even after making mistakes, and to the children, I am grateful to them for they are the ones who made me known to their parents,” Kiririmbi host Waweru Wa Nyambura stated.
During his time at the RMS, Waweru won several awards in different categories, including the Good Governance Award in the Television category.

About Waweru Wa Nyambura
The Kiririmbi show host’s full name is Paul Waweru Wa Nyambura, and he is mostly known as Waweru Wa Nyambura.
He was born in Laikipia County, central Kenya, where he attended Tigoni Secondary School.
Waweru holds a Master of Arts in Development Communication from Daystar University.
In addition, he has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication and Journalism and a Diploma in Business Management from Moi University.

Kiririmbi Host Waweru’s Career
Between November 2016 and June 2026, Waweru served as a news editor at Inooro TV.
He also served as the head of communication for the Youth Arts Development and Entrepreneurship Network (YADEN) from January 2017 to December 2021.
Waweru was a radio host at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), serving from January 2012 to July 2016.
His career at the RMS started as a trainee reporter, then progressed to news producer, and later to news editor.
Among his notable shows was Kiririmbi, which featured politicians and political analysts, and the show helped Waweru gain popularity.
In addition, Waweru Wa Nyambura was known for his native word articulation and intonation during his tenure as a news anchor and reporter at Inooro TV.
