Samuel Kanar Seki is the current Senator representing Kajiado County, elected in the August 2022 general election under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
He is a lawyer by profession and an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Before becoming a senator, he served as the County Secretary for both Narok County (2013-2017) and Kajiado County (2017-2021).
Seki was born on July 1, 1974.

He then studied at Methodist University (MU), where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management.

Samuel Kanar began his public service in the Ministry of Devolution as a Deputy Director of Human Resource Management.
He then served as County Secretary for Narok County, and later as County Secretary for Kajiado County between 2013 and 2022.
In the August 2022 general election, he was elected Senator for Kajiado County on the UDA ticket.
As Senator, he chairs the Senate Committee on Trade, Industrialisation & Tourism.
