One Africa Place is one of Nairobi’s commercial landmarks, combining a distinctive curved façade with Grade A office space in Westlands.
The building is located at the intersection of Chiromo Road and Rhapta Road.
The tower has become a preferred address for multinational corporations, financial institutions, and consulting firms.
Developer Behind One Africa Place
One Africa Place was developed through a partnership involving Imaran Group, a real estate investment and development firm, and DMI Kenya Limited, the company responsible for overseeing the execution of the landmark project. The development was conceived as a world-class Grade A office tower to attract multinational corporations to Nairobi and reinforce the city’s position as East Africa’s leading business hub.
The project was led by Paul Downey, Managing Director of DMI Kenya Limited, alongside a team of local and international architects, engineers and consultants. Their vision was to create a premium commercial development that would combine striking architecture with modern workplace amenities.

One Africa Place was designed as a distinctive curved tower with an elliptical form. The developers sought to create what they described as an “urban sculpture”, blending aesthetics, energy efficiency and functionality in a single development.
History, Rental Rates and Features of One Africa Place
The development was originally known as Palazzo Tower before it was rebranded as One Africa Place. Construction began in 2015. The building comprises 138,000 square feet of office space across 21 floors.
During its construction, the idea drew expertise and materials from around the world, including façade systems and glazing sourced through an international supply chain.
According to Knight Frank Kenya, office rents range between USD 1.35 and USD 2.15 per square foot per month, while retail space attracts between USD 2.25 and USD 3.00 per square foot per month.
The pricing is supported by modern facilities designed to meet international corporate standards.
