Emily Ngii has won the bronze medal after coming in third in women’s 10,000m race walk at the commonwealth games.
Moreover, Ngii has clocked a new personal best mark and area record of 43:50.86.
The African Champion finished third behind Jemima Montag of Australia (42:34.30) and Priyanka of India (43:38.83) who took gold and silver respectively.
Furthermore, the 35-year-old Ngii improved from her ninth-place finish at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi, India.

Likewise Kenya sits fourth on the medal standings at the Club Games with eight medals; two gold, three silver and three bronze.
